Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately nutrition to the general population is a little more contested than nutrition to specific groups like athletes. However, I do believe whoever is reading this article is probably an athlete to some extent or in other words, be able to benefit from eating a healthy, balanced diet for optimal performance.

Even though the media bombards us with different views of what a healthy diet entails, there are some very well researched, well practiced dietary strategies that have been used successfully for many years.
